In 3/14 tests, the AMD Athlon 64 3500 wins. In the rest, the Intel Xeon 3.6GHz EM64T wins. These tests were done with one CPU with a 64-Bit OS and in a 64-Bit environment. However, while the Intel Xeon 3.6GHz EM64T costs $850, the AMD Athlon 64 3500 costs $500 less. Also, we haven't yet seen the Opterons. This would be like an Opteron 246 vs that Xeon. Future tests could include the Opteron 248 and the Opteron 250. As for the Pentium 4 EM64T CPUs, AMD still has their 3800 and FX-53.

As has been stated on some other forums (this is a rather hot topic atm) some of the results are well...a little out of place. Like using the A64's 32-bit instead of 64bit scores.
