The Alienware ALX series from start have taken computer modding on the retail side to the extreme. Now it goes even further. (At least for those Intel lovers out there.) Now they are shipping overclocked systems! You can either get a Pentium 4 3.4GHz EE (Socket 775) @ 3.8GHz or a Pentium 4 3.6GHz (Socket 775) @ 4.0GHz. This gives those people who don't build their own computers, but have money to burn a very powerful solution. I wouldn't be surprised if Alienware made an ALX 2 for Vapor Cooling and overclock the Pentium 4 3.4GHz EE (Socket 775) to 5.0GHz.

Each CPU has it's own GHz range. Some CPU s are known to be great overclockers (Athlon XP 2500 Mobile). Within that stock are only a few that can overclock a bunch. You just have to be lucky.
