AMD + PCI Express (The Wait Is Done)

If you wanted a K8 CPU with PCI Express and don't care for SLI technology, the wait is finally over. VIA has just released the K8T890 Chipset which supports PCI Express technology!
As for you nVidia chipset fans out there, such as myself, I think the wait is almost done for us.
