I prefer Gamecube, the perfect compliment to a PC gamer... Most of Xbox exclusives are ported to PC so whats the point of Xbox ... Gamecube exclusives are only for Nintendo no other system(they all good, unless you one of those "it a kiddy system people")... PS2 is old and sure it has good games, but it come out for PC anyway... after reading many posts GC was mostly in the top half of favorites, Xbox everywhere more top half , PS2 bottom half

Quick Side Note... Nintendo didn't do Online because they couldn't get online for the benefit of costomer and company... basically they wanted to get the online gaming free and the couldn't for this generation.

I'll vote Gamecube. I had a PS2 and there ere soem good games for that like Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons Of Liberty and Final Fantasy X (Both got very good ratings). It broke and I made 'em fix it, 'laser trouble' was the problem apparently. I got it back, and after another 3 month it broke, again!

Now my PS2 sits in pieces, it's emotion chip staring up at me. I couldn't be botehred to pay money to have it repaired again, damn fragile things.

GC appeals to me the most, as XBOXes are okay, but as you said the games are all for PC anyway. The GC however I verged on getting, reliable, fun, unique, cheap, but I couldn't be bothered in the end

I can therefore conclude that PS2's suck monkey butt and GC's all the way

I prefer XBOX because, although a lot of the games are ported to pc, it still has the best selection of games in my opinion. And I would rather play the games porte to pc on an XBOX anyway because pc ports are ALWAYS rushed together and almost always come out crappy.

Plus, I wanted a DVD player in my room and PS2 is too cheap to spend any money on.

that link about the Xbox Vs. PS2 is old, Xbox some call a computer in disguise, yes some ported games arent as nice such as halo multiplayer, but DOOM 3 is awsome for pc. PS2 is just old with a half million crappy games and about 50 good games form what a hear. Yeah game playing on an Xbox is probably more comfortable. I heard to play Halo 2 you need a hardware update to your xbox.

Xbox live is awsome, It has a leg up on pc gaming in that all the Consoles playing the game are the same, and all the games are made for the xbox and i have to say the xbox live system is pretty flawless. Xbox live is great, just talk to you friends while playing on the head set. I know Pc and Xbox have their diffrences, and i like both equally but someone mentioned that the xbox games will come out for pc, but you have to look at how much you are paying for a PC that plays the top o' the line graphics, compared to an XBox. Not to mention you cant cheat on Xbox live

whomever told you that you need a hardware update to play halo 2 is lying, i can play halo 2 perfectly, no problem.
