The X-Ray Thunder 8 is a dual surface mousepad. You can choose either a smooth surface or a rough surface. It is much smaller than its big brother, the X-Ray Thunder 9, making it more easy to keep on your desk. The X-Ray Thunder 8 dimensions are 11.44" x 9.3" x 1/6". Other than the two in one mousepad feature, the X-Ray Thunder 8 has another feauture the X-Ray Thunder 9 does not have. This is the mouse cord clip. If you have a wired mouse and the mousecord is giving you problems, you can install the clip to keep the mousecord in place.

The X-Ray Thunder 8 also has a nice looking tin transport box. I think this is much better than the cloth carrying bags the Thunder 9's have. The Thunder 8 size is much more manageable than the Thunder 9, it also has both the rough surface and smooth surface in one mousepad. You would have to get two Thunder 9's to get the two surfaces one Thunder 8 offers.

Overall, the Thunder 8 is a well balanced mousepad. It sticks the you desk, has more features than the Thunder 9, and its size is more appropriate.

Pros:
Dual Surface
Size
Mouse Clip
Transport Case
Price (At only $19.95, this is a great mousepad for the money.)

Cons:
Mouse cord clip (This can be fairly difficult to install and keep in place.)
