that number isn't a very good number, sure it broke one day records, but it had more then 3 months of selling the item and let out all revenue of the 3 months in one day. According to that stat over half of its 125 mil came from pre orders, so in my opinion you have to cut that stat between one forth and on half its size to really get opening day statistics.
