I never liked eVga either. A friend of mine built a PC and he used an evga video card. It was a total PoS, absolute junk!
I said from that moment on I would never buy another evga product.

Too many reputable companies out there who have been making motherboards for years, to buy from someone who is just getting their feet wet.

If their mobo's run as nice as their gpu's.. their junk too

My eVGA FX 5200 was junk.. Now I have an ASUS 6800GT and I'm happy :)

Well, the GeForce FX 5200 series were like nVidia's worst series ever.

But still, if I wanted a workstation, I would go with Tyan considering that they make the best workstation motherboards.

As for cards, XFX is king in my heart.

I would go ASUS or ABIT

Well, considering that Asus and Abit don't concentrate on workstation motherboards, they would be of a lesser quality.
