will there be a noticable difference between 2,8ghz P4 with HT and a 2.8 Ghz P4 with Dual-Core?

Let me make this simple: HT has no real benefits. A 2.8GHz P4 with HT has: 2 1.4GHz theoretical cores, each with 8KB of L1 Cache, 512KB of L2 Cache, 400MHz FSB, and 400MHz DDR2 out of your dual channel 400MHz DDR2 RAM. A 2.8GHz P4 with dual cores has: 2 2.8GHz cores, each with 16KB of L1 Cache, 1MB of L2 Cache, 400MHz FSB, and 400MHz DDR2 out of your dual channel 400MHz DDR2 RAM.
