Here are some known specs:
PS3
4 64-bit Cell CPUs @ >4.5GHz (Total Core Count: 36 "Note: 1 main core which has hyper threading and 8 sub cores per CPU)
XDR System RAM
nVidia's GeForce 7800 Ultra
XDR Video RAM
XBOX2
1 Power5 with just 3 cores, each at 3.5GHz, each with hyper threading
Unkown System RAM
ATI's R520
GDDR4 Video RAM

another comparison, how many have we had?, Sony has been working on cell technology for years, they patened it in 2001.
I don't think Sony's cell is 64bit, i'm sure its 32bit.

U know what that article is saying, you may buy a PS3, but its not just a PS3 when Cell tv's come out, it will be a tv, when everything else cell comes out it will be everything else. According to this article your house could become a super computer, saying you would have two tv's, two computers, a camcorder, one or two sound systems/stereo's. The possiblities with this tech is increadible. I don't want Microsoft to become a b**** and destroy this technology.

I just hope that Windows will be able to run a Cell.

Right now it will be the cell running windows with emulation, so software is not a problem when cell comes out.
