Scanreg to a zip disk .I often use up my 5 scanreg dates when I encounter a fix problem, Is it possible to save my latest good scan reg on to my removeable zip disk drive, so Ill always have a good copy to pop in whenever I neeed it? If so how do I do this?

In sysbckup folder in windows the registry backup files are stored...ie rb000.cab etc..these can be copied and stored on any medium (i'm not very familiar with zip drives ).
To use a previously copied cab simply copy back into the sysbackup folder (using dos if windows is unavailable)and restore from that file.
I've disabled scanregw from running everytime windows starts.(msconfig.exe.........startup) and manually backup after making changes as i found otherwise one could end up with five backups with an error in that had gone unnoticed

Hope this helps.......
