Now I am just guessing this is a problem burried deep within the BIOS but it is a big one. My computer won't go into standby mode. When it does it turns completely off and when I hit a button on the keyboard to turn it on I get the POST like I shut it down. I am used to this computer going all the way off in standby mode (S3 i think they call it, when no fans are running) but it was after I had to reinstall my OS when it happened. I have an Intel Desktop Board: D865PERL and Windows XP Home w/ SP2. 1 gig Ram 160gig Maxtor HDD Intel Bios. I already messed with the power settings and I can't get anything to work. So my computer is now running full on all the time or off. If anyone knows how to solve this problem I would appreciate it. Thanks!
