I participate in a forum called http://www.webpagefun.com and with other info from this forum I have made a webpage for myself. My question, however is this" I cannot use the forum because as soon as any action (new post - reply - amend profile, etc) is requested, I am logged off. I regularly and normally use IE 6.0 but have also tried Firefox and Netscape 7.2 and have the same problem there. The administrator of this forum is as perplexed as I am but feels that since I am the only one having this problem, the problem lies in my computer. I can't realistically argue that position. I have deleted every registry reference for this forum, deleted all cookies, given all possible permissions :x yet nothing changes. A suggestion was made reference "Hosts" file which I followed thru on and have the IP number and name entered in that file. I am at  wits end. Appreciate anmy ideas any users of this forum may have.

I do not have ready access to another PC and have created three identities beyone the original one. A friend, using my identity was able to successfully navigate the forum.

Not in the last 3-4 days but I have a couple of times since the problem started. I'll run them again now just to see if anything has turned up.

Running Spybot and Adaware revealed notning, not did HiJackthis or CWShredder. I did go to a computer at public library and had no problems with accessing the site in question. I ran a small utility called "WinsockxpFix" which has been of some benefit. Also running Registry Mechanic has been some help. I can now access the side and make 2-3 posts before getting told I am not logged in, then close the window and open another window and be still logged in. I'm trying everything I can short of re-installing WinXP Pro.
