Well, PCWorld did this excellent article over Spyware Protection Programs. Owning the 2 most popular free versions of Spyware Protection Programs, Ad-Aware and SpyBot, may not offer you 100% protection. During the testings that PCWorld did, Microsoft's new Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) came out on top by detecting 91% of the spyware. Also, its free for Windows owners. It was closely followed by CounterSpy which detected 85% of the spyware but costs $20. Thus, I would suggest adding Microsoft's Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) to your computers.

I have that and although Spybot is good Microsoft's program is definitely better.

ive only used adware out of the three but ill give it 99/100. without it my comp wud be so messed up
