graphics card help

i know this should be in the graphics card forum, but it seems more people use this forum....
anyway... my computer can't detect that my geforce4 4400 is connected... i can't install any drivers for it because it says it can't detect any hardware.... blabla... its really frustrating. i mean its obviously working because i'm using my monitor, right?
any help is greatly appreciated.

Either your video card or your motherboard is fried, or the card is in loose/in the wrong spot/cmos settings wrong.

Try refresh your OS.
