Hi, I would like to know if there's a Internet Speeding Software which really works? Just to know, my Internet is 56K (Do not laugh!), and I'm connecting to my company from home. I don't care if that software isn't free, just give me names of software that works. Thanks, talb

You will have to check out the ISP's in you're area. The software is provided free by some providers, it is a compression program that reduces the quality of graphics to speed up downloads.

What richh0323 mentioned is a proxy accelerator, and probably isn't what you'r after, infact, it wont work if you connect to your work from home. Throttle is a really good optimiser. Once installed, just run it once, tell it your connection speed, and it adjusts relevant settings. You never need to use it again, and it doesn't start itself up with your computer to work. You can even uninstall it and keep the tweaked settings. There is the option of paid registration, which will unlock the "fastest" setting, however, for free you can use it with the "fast" setting, and the difference is real! Disclaimer: I have no affiliation with PGWARE LLC, the creators of Throttle, other than as a consumer :).
