quick windows desktop question.

does anyone know if it is possible to make the icon captions not have this shadow look to them? i just want black text. the shadow is kind of hard to read and just looks bad. Image

just put the avacado on a black background cuz chances are that the contrast on your monitor is rediculously high like mine is. BTW, nice paint job.

You can right click on the screen and go to properties, then change you're display properties to something that you like more. :)

Right click on My Computer, click properties. Go to the advanced tab, and click the settings button under performance. Under the custom label, uncheck the item second from the bottom that deals with desktop icon caption shadows. Click ok until all the dialog boxes go away. After you disable that, right click on your desktop, click properties, and go to the Appearance tab. Click the advanced button, and adjust the desktop color to white. Click ok.
