Computer won't turn on...

Recently I was having problems with my computer because the retention bracket was broken. I replaced the retention bracket and everything seemed to be fine. So I was on the computer for 2 hours or so and I tried to connect my remote control reciever for my computer in the front USB ports on my case. As I was plugging it it, it all of a sudden pushed the whole front pannel (audio, firewire, usb ports) in and dislocated it. That's when my comp turned off and ever since then it won't turn on. At first I believed the problem was the power connector connected to the on button came off but I opened the front and it seemed to be fine. I was also reading someone else's problem and they fixed it with a new power supply. I also replaced the power supply with my older one and my comp still doesn't work.
Computer specs are:
Asus P4P800S motherboard
P4 3.2 Ghz HT Prescott CPU
512 Pc3200 Ram (2x 256 Kingston)
120 Gig Hard drive
ATI 9250 256MB 4x/8x AGP video card
I would appreciate it if someone helps me through this problem.
Thank you

Are you getting any sign of power what so ever? Have you checked the back of the power supply, some have a small breaker you can reset. Check in the case for any signs of loose wires, or disconnected. You can take a small jumper or wire and jump between the pins that the power on botton is and see if the computer starts (orange and white wires typical) touch the wire between the pins once to start and once to shut down. Some of the newer power supplies are different than older power supplies, so make sure that the older on you placed in is the same pin out. Hope this may help.

Ok I will try that later, and also do you think it could be a motherboard problem?

Lets look for the simple stuff first, there is a possibility you burned a trace on the motherboard. I have included a few links to some references. The first on is just about power supplys, the second is more technical. If you look at the pin out you will see that to turn on the power supply PS-ON pin 14 is put to ground on the motherboard. In laymans terms you go from pin 14 to pin 15 with a small piece of wire to turn on the power supply. You will notice on the bottom of the page the color codes. If you have a meter and a jumper a connection to the two pins for a second should turn on the power supply, and from ground you will be able to measure the power supply output.
