AMD expects to replace AMD32 socket 462 with AMD32 socket 754.
AMD also expects to replace AMD64 socket 754 with AMD64 socket 939.
Last AMD expects to replace AMD64 socket 940 for Athlon 64 FXs with AMD64 socket 939.
Thus the final products of this will be:
Single Socket 754- Athlon XPs with 256KB C2
Single Socket 939- Athlon 64s with 512KB C2, Athlon 64 FXs with 1MB C2
Single/Dual/Quad/8-Way Socket 940- Opterons with 512KB and 1MB C2

PS: I can't wait for K9s, hopefully they will be more universal.
