Ok i just tried to play an old game of mine thats on floppy disc but my floppy disc drive doesn't respond. I put in the disc and went to the A: drive but nothing. The light didn't even flash. I have no idea why... I did try different floppy discs as well but still, nothing. Could anyone help with this?

Check the power connector and the cable that connects it to the motherboard. If that's good, just get a new one with cable, they are cheep nowadays

look at the light on the floppy disk drive.. is it solid with nothing in it?
