Hi there, I am having a strange problem. I am using Windows XP pro. My computer is a pentuim 4 1.6 GHZ with 512 DDR ram (incase you needed that info). I use the filesharing program "sharaaza" which works fine. I am able to download programs from shareaza but when I try to display a webpage in netscape navigator, mozilla firefox or internet exporer all 3 browsers display the same error message: "[website] cannot be displayed". I have pinged my DNS and no packets are lost which means my connection is fine. I have disabled the XP firewall but I don't think that has much to do with it. As you can see, I have tried everything. Cheers in advance Batman

You have most likely been hacked into with sharaaza, the best thing you can do now is download adaware, ccleaner, and Hijack this. Run the first two, then install Hijackthis into it's own folder, run it and post you're log, and we'll go from there

Look for lots files of the same size but different names in shareaza downloads and downloaded program files in windows and other places there is a virus which clones itself renaming each clone to hide itself............... regards mike
