How to create a boot disk..

1. Go to "My Computer"

2. (Make sure there is a floppy disk is in your drive) and right click on the floppy drive icon

3. Click "Format" and then Click "Start" (on the window that pops up

That easy!

That won't create a boot disk, just a blank floppy disk. Why don't you tell us how to make the floppy bootable.

How to make the computer boot from the floppy on startup? Is that what you are asking?

Simply download the bootdisk of choice from http://www.bootdisk.com
and follow the simple instructions of the self-extracting exe.

Edit: And to make a computer boot from the floppy you need to edit
the boot settings in your bios, where default boot device might be the HD.

But he was asking how to make a computer when it startsup, use the boot disk first.. You have to go into the BIOS, and swich the Boot From: to Floppy (FDD) <--- Floppy Drive Disk... Then your set!
