I've just put together my computer: Specs: Intel LGA775 PentiumD 830 ASUS P5WD2 Premium mobo 1x512mb DDR2 PC4200 corsair memory 2x200Go SATA HDD (Raid 0) 1x160Go SATA HDD for documents + backup Sparkle GeForce 6600GT Vivo 128mb I havn't installed any OS yet and i was wondering if it would be ok to install Linux Mandrake and Windows XP Home Edition together, and chose at startup what OS to use. I'm completely new to Linux and i don't really know what i'm in for. I do know that Linux is better for web browsing and networking than Windows(probably more too). Could you give me some advice on the different Linux Versions available and what ones are the best? I heard Suse is pretty good. Any help would be greatly appreciated! :) Cheers, Edd

Actually I've never use Linux, but I've heard that it's really possiable install windows and Linux on one PC. Anywhy for best activity it better install on separate partition, but probably you would need third part software to do it safely for your exist data.
