i bought it 2 years ago, and it have never been working properly... when i just got it, i started burning out DVDS, and after burning like 10(that worked in WinDVD on my computer) barely half of them would play on my ?stationary DVD player?(player connected to my TV), and those who worked were just crappy. i have tried about everythin from installing and updating drivers and software to put the burner in another computer....nothing works... i have tried 2 send the DVDs over to my mothers computer and burned them out with her burner and it works perfectly... i have went through some posts here in the forum and done what other suggested with the Lite-on burners, including buying complete new IDE cables. after i installed the IDE cables yesterday, i tried to burn a movie and it worked (with not always perfect image) but when i tried 2day, the player just find the dvd as a cd-r... i have sent the burner into a check but it seems not to any problems with it... what can be wrong?
