I have an e-machines laptop with the CD writer/DVD reader internal drive. A couple weeks ago it refused to recognize any audio CD that I put in it, yet it can still read data CDs and the Data DVD restore disk and it can still write CD's. Just for grins I have unloaded and reloaded the drivers several times, even renaming the old ones to make sure new copies were loaded. Any thoughts?

I've never heard of that happening before, I guess I would try installing a different media player.
