well it's not really tragic but I was reading about using your old PC as a web server so that other people can download your files etc.. What I was thinking was, would this work if I bought a domain name and kept my old computer running and then I would have free hosting provided by myself? I was thinking what a great idea this would be but I don't know if i twould work

You could always get like one of them dynamic IP address things...like yourdomain.dynip.com And then of course, installing apache (free web server). Partieâ„¢
