Somewhere I read that this isn't one of XP's finer files... I personally have not noticed any problems with having on my machine and I have tracked it into the registery.. To me it seems like just renaming the file in the OS or deleting it in the Registery ought to do the trick.... But I suspect that the KISS principal is not going to apply here... Am I right??

Nail.exe isn't a XP file. It's a trogan use AdAware to get rid of it, you may have to run in safe mode.

I recognize that it is a virus... However, simply running Ad-Aware in Normal or in Safe mode has no affect... I have used Ad-Aware, Norton, and Spy-Bot... All will say that the file has been deleted, but it just doesn't go away... It is just the way it is.. Sooo I am looking for other alternatives.. Thanks for your reply!
