Microsoft says........ Stop 0xD1 messages can occur after installing faulty drivers or system services. If a driver is listed by name, disable, remove, or roll back that driver to confirm that this resolves the error. If so, contact the manufacturer about a possible update. Using updated software is especially important for backup programs, multimedia applications, antivirus scanners, DVD playback, and CD mastering tools. So did you install anything , update anything or did you download a program before this happened? If you remember start in safe mode (F8) and uninstall it. Also you can start in safe mode and go to "RUN" and type "MSCONFIG" you can now do a selective startup, (by checking diagnostic start up) hide all micosoft stuff, look at the rest disable any you don't know, leave stuff like virus software , check apply. Now try and start up, if you start up normally, restore a few apps you disabled and try above again. do this till you find the bad app.
