AHHH! Wireless works, but modem can't receive packets

I tried to start a network(Network Setup Wizard) on the desktop computer so I can share files.
I restarted...my laptop can go wireless, but my desktop can't go online.
Is there any way of fixing this?
yeah, I know I'm stupid.
