Kernel Debugging

How do I turn off Kernel Debug mode or whatever? I tried to run Daemon Tools just now and it told me this;
"Initialization error
This requires at least Windows 2000 with SPTD 1.24 or higher.
Kernel debugger must be deactivated"
This doesn't make sense to me because it worked yesterday. I do have Windows XP Professional also so I don't know why it tells me I need at least Windows 2000..
Someone please tell me how to turn off Kernel debugger please and thank you~ ^.^;
