Newegg Sells the AMD Opteron 848

Newegg finally sells my favorite CPU.
This is a 2.2GHz AMD64 CPU with 128KB Cache 1 and 1MB Cache 2.
It uses Hyper Transport and has an onboard memory controller that supports up to PC3200.
But the real kick about this CPU is that it can rank up into an 8-Way environment.
When tested against Intel's best CPU, the Pentium 4 3.4GHz EE, it won 9/10 tests. (As seen in my signature)
But the biggest kick of all is this.
Not only is Newegg selling this for the lowest price out there, they are selling it for lower than what AMD sells it in 1000-unit tray quantities.
In other words, either Newegg got a lot more than 1000 of these babies, or they have special connections with AMD.
Anyway, you can get it at Newegg for $1469.00.
