ADSL Bandwidth Issues?

Is it normal for my 1 MB aDSL line to now be consistantly downloading at about 400 kBps?

how do you know its constantly downloading at that speed?

Download manager says that speed and the downloads are finishing that fast.

I'd say it was a flaw with download manager, I don't think you have a 1mbit line, I think its a 1.5 mbit.

Lucky you, you seem to have the 3mb adsl that bellsouth is planning, I'm going to reset my modem and see if I get it.

I get a 2.6mb.... Should I switch to bellsouth over cox... Is it worth it?!?

Switch to bellsouth because you consitently get 3.1. Cable is too insecure and inconsistent.
