I need to write a poem for English taht's due tomorrow. Any ideas?

Write one about LOTR..lol

I already wrote a paper about lotr.

hrmm.. What does it need to be based on?

Requirements:

- 12+ lines
- good

right a poem about computerbb
make sure you include the url on every other line
then tell your teacher to click on the ads

But then it doesn't fit his definition of good.

If you split the profits, how can it be bad?

Why don't you write about a student's anxiety to finish school or something...
Maybe you could relate it to the Teacher's anxiety to finish school...
The reason they are so anxious to finish school is because without school, they could be at ComputerBB all the time

Maybe a poem describing trying to come up wiht a subject of a poem to write about.

When choosing a topic for a poem,
One often gets a writers block.
It's quite aggrevating
When you can think of nothing
So I think I'll write this instead....

The Destruction of an Unknown Hero
That is mine.

I think he'd think of mine being more creative.

how do you know he is being destroyed, muchless a hero if he is unknown

That is the saddest part.

When attempting to write a good poem,
One often can't think of a topic.
If this is the case, his angry frustration
Forges a cyclone of savage thoughts in his head.

Like bum with no education,
This poet cannot contrive a thing.
It is in this moment that he sadly concludes
That this approach will accomplish not a thing.

Knowing that he cannot think of a good topic,
He thinks about it a little bit more.
If he needs a good topic for a poem,
He should just write of his attempt to try.

The Tragedy of True Heroes

The tragedy of true heroes is ignored,
Since the world is not yet restored.
If one cannot serve with a sword,
He's sent away without any reward.

The life of true heroes is a mystery,
Since their testimony is lost in history.
For true heroes from their youth,
Only testify to the truth.

And thus the truth remains unknown.
And many of the world start to groan.
For at this figure each man threw a stone,
And God judged each man by His thrown.

On a more serious note, I've bumped it up to 25 lines:

When attempting to write a good poem,
One often can't think of a topic.
If this is the case, his angry frustration
Forges a cyclone of savage thoughts in his head.

Like bum without education,
This poet cannot contrive a thing.
It is in this moment that he sadly concludes
That this approach will accomplish not a thing.

Knowing that he is deprived of a topic,
He thinks about it a little bit more.
If he cannot decide on a topic for a poem,
He should simply write of his attempt to try.

In this poem he desired to include
A wave of figurative speech.
Once he realized that this part was easy,
He concluded that there was only one truly hard part.

The difficulty of writing good poetry
Is the same difficulty of writing good prose:
Picking a topic to write on
Is hardest, save rhyme and use of fixed meter.

Second, he said 12 lines and make it good.

No Other Directions!

He said he'd much prefer it if you didn't use rhyme. It wasn't actually in his directions, he just said it was kid stuff and all.
