Intel's first 64-Bit Extended CPU has been released.
It looks a lot like their Prescott Socket 775s.
The GHz are as follows:
2.8GHz, 3.0GHz, 3.2GHz, 3.4GHz, 3.6GHz

This should give you an idea of performance.

If an Opteron 248 can beat a Xeon 3.4GHz, imagine an Opteron 250 vs a Xeon 3.6GHz.

Again, AMD has the top CPU.

Then why did you say that was not the CPU in my statement, "If an Opteron 248 can beat a Xeon 3.4GHz, imagine an Opteron 250 vs a Xeon 3.6GHz."?

Logic goes that if an Opteron 248 can beat a 3.4GHz Xeon, an Opteron 250 can beat a 3.6GHz Xeon.
