Firewalls and GoAhead webserver

Hi all,

I need some help... Firewall tests show that my ports 53 and 80 are open, no matter which firewall I use (I tried 3 of them). I connect to the net thru a router. Now someone told me maybe it is not my computer that has ports open, it can be the proxy of my ISP. can it be true?

Also, a firewall test on sygate.com told me I have a GoAhead webserver installed, I don't know what it is, I didn't install any server on my comp. What is this?

thanks in advance.

hi,
thanx for the answers. The router is a Planet Broadband XRT401D. I don't have remote administration.

If the tests are correct (the ones at http://www.grc.com and http://www.dslreports.com are) then you have a defective router. If you have 50 to 70 dollars, you can goto bestbuy/circuit city/walmart and buy a linksyst router which is probably much better than the one you have now since linksys was just bought by Cisco, the best networking company.
