Graphics card conflits with motherboard???

Post by parrapa »

Hi All A noobie on here so any help would be much appriciated, and I will try and return the favour! I have a Tiny PC (a couple of years old) and I am trying to put a PCI graphics card in it (ATI). The PC has an on board graphics chip, but when I install the new card, and plug up the monitor nothing happens?. I tried disabling the on board graphics but this made no difference to the outcome. Any help would be great as I am fresh out of ideas! Many thanks Col

Theres a chance you may have to set the board to run on a pci video card. If you post the board type, we could help you more.
