beep codes plzzz help

i have a biostar motherboard m6vlq ver 2.1 and i was on the computer put it on standby went away for a little while then came back and a fatal error msg appeared then i restarted and then a reboot from floppy disk msg appeared so i restarted again and the monitor wouldnt turn on and a beeping noise started it would last for 2-3 secs and then stop then come back if you have n e information that may help please contact me when you get a chance thanks
