Is my hard drive spoilt?

OKay.. so I got my laptop last September from Asia right. and now it has this problem where it is really hard for me to reformat it and when i actually get to ONCE out of like a hundred times.. after i install this antivirus software it turns out to have like 3 viruses inside which i don't really remember the name. and now it has problem getting into windows and even when i tried to reformat it ... it just gets stuck at after the EULA agreement. Does it mean my hard drive has officially annouce its death?? or is there any recommended way from anyone here on how to test if it is alright? THanks a million~

Actually, I'm not sure that your HDD spoilt. Did you have Windows bootable CD, if yes just try to re-install OS. Brobalbly it would hel. But you'll lose all your data.

Use FDISK to remove the partitions and then reformat it, that will solve any virus problems
