please help

i have this error message pop up when i turn on my sons computer un-mountable boot disc im running windows xp i can t access safe mode at all the windows bar comes on as it goes to boot up just flicks off and then i get a blue page saying this message i can access the bios but not sure what to do i have a windows xp disc if thats any help thanks

You will have to try a few things first, that is going into recovery console, then checking the disk. http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000627.htm Then you will have to run chkdsk to see if you have problems. http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000630.htm Please see the links for detailed instructions. After you have done the chkdsk and you still have problems let us know and we will help some more.
