hi i have windows media player 9 for windows 2000 but every time i try to burn my own cds or even copy work it will not allow me. eather the disc does not read or it tells me that i dont have the hardware. it does let me load disc with info on them tho can you help me please. thanks

IS you're CD able to read/write? You might try Roxio and see if that works.
If I could remember all I have forgotten, I would be a smart man.

it says that i have Roxio but it still wont let me. yep cds are fine i use them on other computers any more ideas id be gratefull

Have you tried using a different brand of CDs? For some reason I canot use phillips RW CDs, they always get to the 7th track and then stop with an error, but Sony CD RW do work...

ill try that but to be honest i think is more complicated. these things always are for me ill let you know if that works. thanks

I was talking about the CD drive are you sure it can write, have you written to a CD with this drive before?
If I could remember all I have forgotten, I would be a smart man.
