Urgent Help

Alrite I was wondering if it is possible to run DDR and SDRAM On the same motherboard at the same time, my motherboard has spots for both types but everytime i try to put both types in at the same time the pc will not boot up. Soo im not shure if can work or not i really need to run the extra ram, i am currently running 256 mb of ddr and i wanted to add another 256 of ram but i only haven it in sdram . my motherboard is a MSI 451M. please help.

No you must run one or the other, can't run both types at the same time.
