Computer wont work! please help!!

Hi guys..not sure if this is the right place to post this.but..my comp is messed up. When my computer works normaly, when it turns on it makes a beep sound, and when that sound plays the computer starts to load. Well last night I turned it off. Woke up, turned it on and the computer doesnt make the beep noise and the monitor just displays a black screen, but all the lights/fans are on and working..can anyone please help me? Thanks

well if fans are working then power supply must be fine, check if your hard drive makes any running noise, maybe loose cable that connects to the hard drice could be the problem, either power cable or PCI cable (wide flat grey cable), also your hard drive could be giving up on you. When you turn your computer on and makes one beep it's normal, means everything is fine, two or more beeps can be motherboard, memory or processor problems. But if it doesn't beep, I asume it's the hard drive.
