Kazaa and Kazaa Lite Search Results

Post by Cash »

I was searching for some paul simon music and i kept getting these wierd bit rates for songs...like 127 ....so i expaneded each result to see all the copys of that result...I realized that somehow kazaa was including lower bit rates occasionally with high bit rates...it also was mixing diffrent song times...how can kazaa download a file from a multiple users if they don't even have the same bit rate for the file....Kazaa averages the results for the result that it displayes on the main result... heres a picture for you to seeImage

By far.. I use bearshare because I find that I get alot better search results and the amount of people used to upload one file is greater.. My usual upload rate is about 120

eMule totally beats the pants off of those other P2P apps.

It's ability to automatically prevent me from downloading files already stored elsewhere on my hard drive has saved me gigabytes of bandwidth.

eMule is ok, but it has alot of spyware, adware, malware

FTP and MIRC are better/safer alternatives I think.

eMule is spyware/adware/malware free. :D

Quoting from eMule-Project.net:

"eMule is free software. You don't have to pay anything to use eMule and you won't ever find spyware, adware or any other advertisement in eMule. "

I found that bareshare was quick but it came bundeled with a heap of adware and was a bit tricky to uninstall completely.
