Ah, you think thats too much.
The Pentium 4 3.4GHz EE costs a whole lot more (>$1000 Total) and the Athlon 64 3200 beats it.

Athlon 64 3200 beats the Pentium 4 3.4GHz EE 5/10 times. This makes it even for performance, but only in the 32-Bit world. Since the Pentium 4 3.4GHz EE is not a 64-Bit compatible CPU, the Athlon 64 3200 automatically wins the 64-Bit contest.
