Ask websites to link to us

If you want the forum activity to start up a bit, a good way to help would be to promote the site. If you can, please email the owners of useful websites to supply a link at the bottom of their main page or in their links page to our site. Also, say that we will do the same. Try to get pages with a PR of 4 or above.

If you will make some banners, i can do it. I will sumibt the site to Yahoo, Google, MSN.

One of the main things I lack in is artistic talent, so my making of banners is completely out of the question.

As far as sumbitting to search engines, we are listed in all the major ones. Right now, I'm trying to get a link exchange going so we can get a higher google ranking which will give us more visitors which will give us more users which will give us more posts which will get us into the dmoz and yahoo directory.

here is what I use when asking websites to lik to us

Hi,

Would you like to exchange links for our sites? (THEIR SITE HERE and short-circuit.zapto.org)
This would involve both you and me modifying the footers of our pages to
include links to each other's sites. The links would be at the bottom
of every page, linking to your front page. My front page right now has
a PageRank of 3/10, but because of web marketing techniques that I have
employed, this should rise to around 5 by the next update. Right now,
each of my forum pages has a PR of 2 and each thread has a PR of 1. By
the next update, they should rise to 4 and 3 respectively. As you can
see, this will provide you with many links from relatively high ranking
pages to your site and visa versa. This would benefit us both.
