forwarding port 80

forwarding port 80

i was trying to open port 80 on my router and the linksys page did not save it but it did say successful yet it did not forward and save

port 80 is automaticaly open...

no, it is not automatically open

what linksys router do you have and did you update the firmware on it?

Isnt port 80 the internet?

he's talking about running a web server from port 80, you don't need to forward any ports if you are not running a server

read the manual, it should work

What router are you using.. Go to setup on ur browser (Linksys = 192.168.1.1) and choose Fowarding
