Is this media good?

I am using PNY's CD-R Recordable 80min 700MB 16x blank media and I am producing nothing but coasters with my lg 8083b drive when buring securom new (subchannels) i have not tried using this media with any thing else, this is the only media i have at the moment, is the media bad or is my drive uncapable? Ive used multiple burning proggies (clonecd, blindread/write, nero, etc) i have also created the image file from 2 other drives (readers artec and aopen) i can play the images fine using daemon withOUT emulation but when i restart the computer i HAVE to use emulation (what is up with that?) when burning i get 4% done and then get a drive not ready error.

I would recomend getting a new cd burner because the one you have listed is quite old. If you were to get a Liteon burner, then you would not have to use emulation for copy protection.
