The Average American Teenager's Software

Post by Smartweb »

I've concluded that there are three (3) programs that the average american teenager uses:

- Internet Explorer
- AOL Instant Messenger (AIM)
- Kazaa (or Kazaa light)

If you use any of these three programs, I highly recommend that you pick up a copy of Firefox, Trillian, or mIRC.

I'm not American, but I use Firefox (or Slimbrowser), MSN, and Shareaza 8)
P.S. I would play games if I could afford to buy them, or if my stupid video card would work right and stop restarting my computer. Screw it, I'm going on Xbox live.

MIRC is the best for downloading stuff, just the average teen doesn't know how to get mirc for free or know after the 30 day trial that Mirc doesn't require you to pay, they also never heard of MIRC.
I use MIRC, MOZILLA, AIM (my daily entertainment in chat rooms), MSN Messenger(much better then aim, but people still says it sucks, i find nothign wrong with it.)
Money can buy what you don't have.

I'm not a mega computer geek, I live in England and I use:

- Mozilla Firefox, Better that IE and has FAR less security problems, better accessability, looks nicer, less bugs, just better...

- MSN Instant Messenger, I've never used Yahoo messenger or AOL, but why would I use AOL?

- WinMX and eMule, KaZaA is adware ful and it's dodgy (So are the others like KaZaA lite, KaZaA 99% fat free, KaZaA 2 for 1)

I play:

-UT2k4
-TES: Morrowind GOTY
-Battlefield 1942 and Vietnam
-Halo
-Quake 3 Arena
-Loads of other games...
