Monitor Problem

Well, I was clicking on my favorites on my computer one by one when all of a sudden my computer restarted. My screen's power went off and remained off. I unpluged it from the battery backup and then repluged it. Nothing. I unpluged it from the video card then repluged it. Nothing. I unpluged the power cord from itself and repluged it. Nothing. I am waiting for ccb056 to chjeck it out. I give it a 90% chance of being . If so, I would have to buy another CRT.

If I were you, I would just get an LCD. They have a longer life span than CRT's and are brighter. I have found them to be fine for 3d games and video.

Newegg had a KDS 17'' on sale a week or so ago, for $99. I happened to be strolling thru the neighborhood Wal-Mart and found the same exact monitor for $118 out the door.

Whatever ya do, stay away from AOC brand monitor.. they are total junk!

For a while now LCD's have been outselling CRT's, and trust me, they are worth the price.

LOL, yes, his monitor is bad, not sure about the replacement yet... It looks like the button is broken, its been bad for a while but it had been working.

I like this 15" LCD for $374.

I also like this 17" LCD for $435.

Lol .. I got a 15" lcd that was better than that one for $259 back in October. 15" Lcd's are the same size as 17" Crt's.

BTW, the only difference between your LCD and this one in the speakers. I have much better speakers: Altec Lansing 5.1
