Adware Pop-up Stopper

Post by ccb056 »

Block all of the pop-up ads you receive from spyware and adware as well as general net surfing. Once downloaded you can stop pop-ups or enable them with just one click of the mouse on the icon at the bottom of your screen. This pop-up blocker stops all pop-ups from reaching you by stopping new instances of Internet explorer from opening. Very simple and powerful. Easily uninstalled just by right clicking on the icon and selecting uninstall.

Sound interesting, I'm downloading Ad-Aware, Spybot, and this right now, I'll post what I think about it soon.

I didn't really like it, it starts running when yoou load IE and blocks popups. I woul recomend using the google toolbar instead.

However, spywareblaster and spywareguard are great for blocking spyware
Coupled with ad-aware and spybot, I think that's the best protection you can get from malware, just remember to update and immunize with spybot, and scan at least once a month

That's what I use. Pop up blocker is nice but the search is the feature I use the most.
