I think it is needed considering a Prescott operates at 75C on a water cooling system.

75*c with a water cooled system.. that would put it well over 100*c with a standard HS/fan, wouldn't it?

In a room at about 78 degrees Fahrenheit, a Prescott would run at about 50-70C, depending on the work load. Your facts are bs, Aggressor Prime.

Oh yeah, and that's with standard HSF too.

Oh, I'm sorry.
It was 77C in a water cooling system at full load.
Here is the proof.

That site leaves out a lot of information that just simply has to be there to be a ligitimate reference. For example, it is missing temperature of room. If this is a room in a house wihtout air conditioning in Columbia, for example, (which would be likely if this is a pro-amd site) that would explain it.

No, we just have fun "taunting" with each other until we explode.... I find it a bit amusing, but this should change.. I am hoping the rules on this forum gets tightend and enforced more.

Experienced computer developers:
1. Build their own PCs.
2. Stay updated with Hardware.
3. Know that AMD is better than Intel.

Well, the third comment shows that you can read facts, understand them, and admit them.

That pretty much includes me too.. with the exception I have built a dozen or so for friends  BUT that doesn't make me an Experienced Computer Developer !!! I'm not developing a darn thing. I'm using someone elses products and instructions to assemble something that someone else already figured out and developed.. get it?
